An easy walk, with good things to taste
We walk through vineyards and villages, and stop where the food and wine are worth it. I tell you the stories behind them: the people, the places and how South Tyrol came to taste the way it does.
It is a gentle full day, ideal for a slower pace or a change from skiing and hiking.

Bolzano and surroundings
Bolzano itself has wonderful wineries, with its wonderful regional Lagrein wine. In the surrounding area there are many beautiful family-run wine estates, both organic and conventional. We choose the most beautiful and interesting ones for you.

We follow the famous South Tyrolean Wine Road, and explore some wineries on foot, as you like. Then we arrive at farms where we have guided visits and tastings.

Lake Caldaro
A warm, peaceful lake in the middle of wine country. I know especially lovely places here that I would be glad to show you. Food and drink are taken care of: I also organize the best restaurants.

The Wine and Castle Trail
A walk through the Überetsch hills to medieval castles such as Boymont and Hocheppan, through forest, vineyards and old paths, with beautiful views over the Überetsch and the Adige valley. Good fitness is required, as the path goes uphill and downhill. Food and drink are taken care of, and we end the day with a tasting.

Do I need to be fit?
The walks are easy and we go at your pace. The castle trail is the exception: it goes uphill and downhill, so good fitness is required.
Is there wine tasting?
Yes. I organize as many tastings as you like, and I will suggest several options, for example organic farms or conventional ones. Tastings are paid directly at the wineries. Tell me if you prefer not to drink alcohol, and I’ll plan around it.
Where do we meet?
We arrange this individually.
How many people can join?
Up to 10 guests.
What if the weather is bad?
We decide together. I choose a different route or stops depending on the conditions, and if we can’t go, we find another date.
