Hiking with a local

From easy walks to longer hikes

I’m a licensed hiking guide, born and raised in South Tyrol. I choose the route with you, based on how you like to walk, how fit you feel, and what you would like to see.

It can be an easy walk with a great view or a longer day in the mountains. We go at your pace, and I know the quieter places away from the crowds.

Example hikes

Where we could walk

These are examples. I adapt every day to your fitness, the weather and the conditions.

A cow resting on a green alpine meadow with a wooden fence

Alpe di Siusi

Europe’s largest high-altitude meadow, with the Schlern and the Dolomites all around. There are many possibilities here, and I adapt the route to your level.

Val di Funes

One of my favourite places, and where I most love to guide, because it is simply wonderful: meadows, villages and the Odle peaks above.

Puez-Odle Area

From Val Gardena we can hike in the Puez-Odle Nature Park, or to the Brogles hut, with wide views of the Odle peaks and plenty of choice for every level.

Other hikes

There are countless other hikes in the Dolomites, where we can have a wonderful day with alpine huts, or a picnic at a lake. Together we find the best hike for you.

What you take home

No summit stress. I’m not about altitude meters: it is conscious walking, with time to look, rest and enjoy.

Quiet trailsPlaces away from the crowds.
Time to breatheSpace to clear your head and be present.
Your paceA route that fits your fitness and your wishes.
Good companyConversation along the way, and time to get to know each other.

Away from the crowds. Some of the best known trails are very busy in summer. I know calmer alternatives and the right time to go, and I adapt the route to the weather and to how busy it is.
