Your first day in the Dolomites
The best of the Dolomites, at an easy pace
Many guests have only one day, and the famous spots get busy. I know the right time of day for each place, the quieter corners and the stops worth making, so you see the best of the mountains at an easy pace.
We take easy walks to wonderful viewpoints and have lunch somewhere I know well. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and take the best pictures. No rush, no group.

Example routes
Four ways to spend your day
These are examples. I adapt each day to your interests and the weather.
The Classic Highlights
The Dolomites you have seen in photos: green lakes, high passes and wide views. With easy to moderate walks or more difficult hikes.
Lake Carezza · Santa Maddalena, Val di Funes · Seceda
The Quiet Dolomites
A calmer day in the valleys that stay peaceful, with views of the Odle peaks and a village walk. We walk through fragrant forests and along the foot of the Dolomites.
Val di Funes · Peitlerkofel · Sassolungo
Lakes & Trails of the East
A longer day to the eastern Dolomites, with a famous lake and open mountain scenery. We can also visit Lake Landro and Lake Dobbiaco, and take a relaxed walk along the shore.
Lake Braies · Lake Dobbiaco · Lake Landro

- A small backpack
- Water bottle
- Snacks
- Sun protection and a hat
- Sunglasses
What you take home
One day, no rush: time to look, rest and enjoy a good meal.
Away from the crowds. The famous viewpoints can be crowded, especially in summer. I know quiet alternatives and the best times of day, and I adapt the route to the weather and to how busy it is.
Guests say
★★★★★“Not only did Juli guide us to beautiful spots, she adapted the day we had to our interests in such an intuitive way. She allowed the time to be open-ended so that we did not feel rushed and pressured. … We got to experience the culture of this most unique and interesting area of South Tyrol through some great local restaurants and meals along with wonderful, informative conversation with her.”

Questions about this day
Is the day really private?
Yes. The day is just for you and the people you bring. There are no groups of strangers.
How much walking is involved?
It depends on the tour: easy walks to viewpoints and lakes, moderate walks or more demanding hikes. We go at your pace, and we choose the route together.
Where do we meet?
We agree on a meeting point when you book, or we meet at your hotel.
How many people can join?
Please let me know how many you are when you book. If there are more than 8 guests, I can try to organize an additional colleague.
What if the weather is bad?
We decide together. I choose a different route or area depending on the conditions, and if we can’t go, we find another date.
Can I do this day in winter?
As a hiking guide I don’t work in winter, but I am happy to help you organize someone. If you would like to ski instead, see all experiences.
What does it cost?
Every day is tailor-made, so you receive a personal offer from me. Write me your dates, group size and what you’d like to do, and I’ll send you a clear price.
